Stephen Falchek, MD
Dr. Stephen Falchek is a founding member of Exceptional Care for Children. He serves as our Chairman of the Board of Directors and as our Medical Director. Dr. Falchek is an experienced Pediatric neurologist currently appointed as the Division Chief of Neurology at the A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. He attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed the Pediatric Residency Program at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Falchek also completed a Pediatric Neurology Fellowship and an Epilepsy Fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Falchek provides organizational direction as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and clinical guidance and supervision to the staff of Exceptional Care for Children. Dr. Falchek is committed to delivering excellent health care services to our children and their families and providing a loving, home-like place for our children to live when they are unable to go home.
Annette V. Moore
Annette joins the team of Exceptional Care for Children as a Licensed
Nursing Home Administrator. Having practiced in the states of Ohio,
Pennsylvania and Delaware, Annette has a combined history of 25 years
of long term care experience. Primarily servicing the industry related
to geriatric and adult care, she joined the team at ECC as one of 35
Nursing Home Administrators in the country that are working to serve a skilled pediatric population dedicated to the care needs of children who
are medically complex. "The accomplishments of ECC are simply amazing.
It is only through the dedication, hard work and vision of many individuals, that this incredible environment exists and continues to have one success story after another."
Annette graduated from Youngstown State University with degrees in Sociology, Allied Health and Nursing Home Administration. Annette has been the recipient of many awards of honor from the Pennsylvania Healthcare Association as well as the American Healthcare Association. She and her husband, Greg, live in Delaware with their son, Kieran.
Tracie Martin, RN, MSN
Director of Nursing
Tracie Martin joined the team at Exceptional Care for Children in November
of 2008 having served as a NICU Nurse/Manager for 13 years at the world
renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital for Children. She brought with her talents
that canonly be cultivated through her nursing career, first licensed as an
LPN and having worked in adult skilled nursing and acute care and
Subsequently pediatrics where she excelled as a clinician and nurse
manager. Having her pediatric research published throughout her career,
Tracie's skills have proven invaluable to the growth and expansion of nursing
services at Exceptional Care for Children.
Tracie is a graduate of University of Phoenix with both her BSN and MSN. Her desire to establish a career in nursing was determined while she was in high school where she began a course of study to graduate with her LPN license simultaneously with her High School Diploma. Tracie has the ability to roll up her sleeves and work alongside of her team to ensure that the highest quality of care and services is administered by her staff each and every day.
Tracie serves as a member of the Long Term Care Continuum Nursing Council, is an avid golfer alongside of her husband of 15 years, Charles and 10 year old son Chuckie. She is the President of the Ladies Association at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club in Rising Sun, Maryland and when she has down time from keeping up with her son’s busy calendar, loves to read, shop and travel.
Director of Facilities
Bill supervises the maintenance and environmental services at Exceptional
Care for Children. He and his crew are responsible for finding solutions to
the day to day challenges in our long term care facility. Bill's number one
goal is the safety and security of the children we care for. He works hard
to ensure the facility is appropriate for our children and that their
families are comfortable and confident that their children are in a safe
environment. Having been with the property since 1994, and ECC since
2004, Bill takes great pride in knowing that people's first impressions will always be positive. Bill's thirty years of supervisory experience make him a tremendous resource for the Exceptional Care for Children family.
